 Russ, I think it's just a list.

Good reference list Dana.  ;)  Just look at it this way once you get a reflash you don't have to worry about the little things like that.   B)

Just reference,

I have done the 22k OHM resister fix for the uppipe and the soldered in the fix for the downpipe.  I had a P0031 and two P0420's when I went to AutoZone to have them read and cleared,  Hopefully I should be cel free.

Cool Dana.

Glad to hear you got the fixes put on.

Now the question is... do you have an exhaust leak?

I have some ideas (thanks to Russ) if you do.

I think I have a very small one.  It was cold today on the way to work so no windows down to listen after it was warm.  But I do get a wiff of exhast in the cabin every once and a while.  I will talk with you later.  And thanks again for your help!

I love it!  I have not seen a big difference with the uppipe on after the down except for a quicker spool.  But I just got the cels cleared and the computer needs some time I think.   Hopefully my cel fixes work and the computer does its thing.

the fixes will work. just give it a bit.

the u/p was an awesome mod when i did it a way back when. not a real obvious one at first. but then you start to fee it.  it's kind of subtle, but you begin to feel some torque down low, very much unlike the car stock.

it's one of the first mods most eveyone should make.

now, we need to talk some people into RA gearsets.

8^)

That's not good. That's the same one I got not to long ago.

Either you've got a wire issue from dibries or rubbing your driveshaft, or the O2 sensor is on it's way out the door.

I was afraid it was something bad.  I am going to change the resister for the up-pipe then see after that.  Thanks Jon.  Oh and the dealer has replaced both of the O2 sensors already.  Crazy.

P0442 Evaporative emission control system malfunction

Not sure why. I may just want to go ahead an change the PCV valve.

BTW. It was at 36,010 miles on the ODO that it came on.

UPDATE.

PCV valve didn't solve my CEL, but as I've researched, it shouldn't have. I needed to change it anyway.

This a very helpful site. Take your CEL, plug it in and it not only give the generic description, but also possible causes.

To cover the P0442 code here is some tidbits from NASIOC.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread...highlight=P0442

I started getting the code when I put in a fuel pump, and the gasket wasn't the best looking, so I'll start by replacing that.

Got the gasket back in last night. So far so good. Reset the ECU and no code yet. didn't really get must sustained cruising in on the way to work though (left late and crappy traffic).

I defenitely see where the cause of the leak is. I kept the old gasket for those interested.

I'd highly suggest replacing this gasket when ever you do a pump. If not just for the peice of mind. It's only $9 or so from the dealer. I have the P/N if anyone wants it. I may edit this post and add it later (tonight).

I knew it was here, but I'm getting some codes not on the list, so thought I'd provide more info.

There are a lot of useful old threads on here if people search for them. :D lol

That is a rear O2 sensor code.  Nothing to do with A/C.

That sensor is not needed and a stage 2 tune turns off the CELs.  Or I could turn it off for you.  :)
