My new driving lights

I want your opinion!

Total pain in the ### . I will be taking it all apart and redoing it some time this week, just because it isn't as stable as I want it to be. I need to find a way to make a gusset or bend something and make a brace, but, I like it.  ;D

Nice.

Now how about some pics at night focusing on a garage door or something.

1" by 1/8" aluminum is easy to work with..  You can get it at ACE.

I need to wire them up still. I didn't have time to do that sunday. I started it at about 5 or so and the sun was starting to set around 8. Soooo, yes it took me 3 hours to mock up everything and get it all fitted, but for a first time working with aluminum as well as fabricating something from scratch with no instructions or even an idea on how to do it took a while.

I do have some aluminum that I've been working with Jeff. Its a whole #### of a lot easier to work with then Steel, but its not something that I can weld at home.

I will try my hardest to finish it up tomorrow and get it all working and get some night shots/ garage shots.

Aside from the autostart turning the car on, while I was still working and scaring the **** out of me,  the lights are done. I need to go buy a small 5amp switch for the source on my switch. I didn't want to do any of that fancy connecting it to the high beams like they are legally suppose to be. I figured for $35 bucks, its a great investment, even though I will use it once in a blue moon.

Tonight... pictures!
