Paint sap, too long, clear coat
« on: September 03, 2011, 05:25:09 PM »
I finally got some time to treat my car with the respect it deserves and finish off the tree sap that's plagued it for a month. Turns out it's in the clearcoat and I need some repairs done. It's about 5-10 spots, quarter sized, one of which drapes across a piece of side molding. I'm thinking wet sand and reapply. May have to be whole panel at worst. Paint looks fine, but I'm no expert. How much do these repairs usually run?

Have to see it for an estimate! Subaru paint is very thin so it could be bad!
