This guy.   :o

Disclaimer:  I don't always tune subaru's...but when I do, they sprout wings and fly.

What if I don't want to have it sprout wings :p

True. I prefer my car to stick to the road. :)

Ha.  Fuuuuu...all this talk about 500whp makes me want to man up and start tearing the car down and selling the parts I've got.

I so deal that burden. It is going to take me a long time to get my final build done. Need my PPG gears now. Then its the long block breaking it all in and them onto a pretty wild set up on some corn juice. :)

Sheeeeeeii, I'm still working towards 200hp, as it stands.   :P

But I'll get there. (though ~400 is my personal target)

200...you can do that on an na RS :) lol.

Aki...I can say I like your car. I was baffled as I looked at your car and compared mental notes to my 07 limited. Just all the updates and such. It's a heck of a lot of change.

Yep.  A certain rwd 505hp vehicle sounds nice to me.  Ive found a couple great prospects close to the area.   ;D

Well sure you can, deck the block and run high compression plus mild intake and exhaust and you'd be there.  I have pondered an N/A build, but am not committed to that idea at this time.

I just want to have some boosted fun, first.  EJ207 swap for the Impreza (3/4 of the way to my number goal once I do that) and then just spruce up, intercool and do some mild bolt-ons for the 22T... for now.

Go for it.  Turbo's are overrated.  Steve Sulatycki's 2.5RS proves that making stock STi NA power.  Only had the opportunity to go WOT a couple of times as a passenger but still it was quite impressive.

Yeah, there were some guys at the RallyX Nationals this last year that were pretty serious contenders with a built N/A RS.  It wasn't quite at STi levels, but it put its power down equally if not better than an STi could have.

Been talking with CAMTuning most of the day about getting the setup.  Should be looking at 25psi when turned up and 500whp...should be fun.

Yeah I hope to cut a few 10.9xs or better on the stock shortblock.  Just like doing things that people say can't be done.

I want a ride!   ;D

Edit:  Allen's car was fast but not that quick and that WRB STi owned by that Airmen with 400+whp was fast but again not that quick nevertheless both of those rides were a hoot!

Yeah my car right now if I had to guess would put down 370whp on it's best day.  Can't wait for the extra power, going to lose around 200 torque though below 4000rpm so it will not have much bottom end but that is fine with me.  I will go ahead and quote a famous man "the beauty of the top end"

Agreed. The loss does hurt but with the right cams an such the added top end is fine espicially w an added rev range.

Yeah the other two cars I mentioned didnít have much low end power more so with Allenís since it wasnít fully tuned but man once the turbo spooled up the car got up and went.

You'd take a Mustang over a C6Z? Is there something wrong with you?
