exhaust questions
« on: October 21, 2012, 03:02:35 PM »
I'm about to replace my exhaust in the very near future (Stabilizing bracket broke), and all though I know it's more personal preferance, I was wondering what some of you like or are running as far as catback exhaust. I'm currently looking at a Invidia Racing Series for my 04 STi. An input will be apperciated.

I loved the sound and look of my Invidia N1 resonated catback.  Angled FTW.

Tsudo N1.  best bang for the buck if on a budget.  Just put one on my 04 wrx and it's SICK!  fitment was phenomenal, no rubbing, no bumper burn.  just deep deep deep rumblelisciousness.   and SUPER easy to install with some ramps and jack stands.  some may disagree, but this is my .02.

I was going to get a N1 but 08+ have 2 bumper exits so it would look weird. I ended up get a Q300. I also heard that Invidia is making a Dual N1 for 2011 WRX/STIs so ill be switching over.  :subaru:

I completely agree.  I love my OEM WRX quad tips and I won't upgrade until I can afford what I really want.  I've thought about the Magnaflow dual system.  Teknocop has it and it sounds awesome...but a little loud.   ;D 8)

SPT is probably the best quad tipped cat-back in my opinion. Sounds so good on Jeff's car.

Saw one on Nasioc for $500 shipped. If only I hadn't bought wheels/tires recently.
