holy ****.
That looks like you went to the golf ranged and parked it about 30 yards out.
good luck dealing with that.

you really should. it sounds better than two V8s having sex with a blowoff valve while a v12 tapes the whole thing.

I filed a claim online already so we will just have to see what they say. I love this car, and its pretty much the exact one I wanted but Im not sure what Im going to to next. I dont see it as being worth trying to get it fixed. as it has dimples EVERYWHERE

That's horrible.  My buddy texted me last night saying his Outback XT is now dimpled as well.  Apparently a very narrow but aggressive band of hail littered West Omaha.  Hate to see this.   :sadbanana  I think it's worth it to get it fixed, though.

That really sucks. I feel your pain.

Mike's car looked like that a couple years ago and it was a little over $8k worth of damage.  Believe it or not, most of it was PDR'd. It may be fixable.

That happened a few years ago to me in my 07 Mustang GT.  Over $5k in damage.  I even had dimples on my wheels (deep dish).

Hail sucks.   :sadbanana

D@mn!
the bottom line is this, people just need to realize that when they buy cheap CO's [KW on down], they are buying cheap, poorly engineered shocks for the sake of having height adjust-ability. - whitetiger on legacygt.com

This is the sad truth. I grimaced looking at your pics, absolutely gutted for you. What a terrible thing to have to deal with, I HATE hail!

I heard downtown Lincoln had a little hail as well, but not nearly as severe as West Omaha.

It was pea sized at best in Lincoln, which was fortunate since I was parked out in it as well.

Sorry for those that were caught out in Omaha, really is no bueno.  :(

Someone get me a Submarine.  I need to retrieve my heart that sunk to the ocean floor when I saw these pictures.

Holy cow.  All I can say is I hope some good comes out of this.

I find it hard to believe his was as bad as mine. The pictures really don't show half of the damage. I'm still kinda in disbelief. We will see what happens.

Honestly, I forgot Mike's car even got smashed by hail.
Whichever shop did his work did a FANTASTIC job!
His car ended up getting repainted after the PDR work though.
Regardless, those dents can be worked out. It's not the first bad hail storm in Nebraska  ;)
Insurance isn't going to budge either. They've already said, "Here's $6600. Take it or leave it."
Find a shop that will work on price...maybe even keep a little cash.

Finally got it all worked out and its getting fixed. I feel much better about it now though talking to a few more people and the body shop that will be taking care of it.

Glad you're able to get it worked out.  It's a fantastic car and I know you're the kind of person who will make sure it's done right.  Let us know when it's done!

Seeing the photos alone gave me headaches. I can't imagine how much cash I would shell out just to repair it. Too many dents to work on.  :-\
