Painted my taillights

5 coats of Vht red lens paint and 2 of clear enamel.  Came out a little more texture than I wanted.  Wondering if I should wet sand.

try it. you can always re-paint right.
truthfully take a step back and it's no problem.
you maybe the only person offended by it.
you really should. it sounds better than two V8s having sex with a blowoff valve while a v12 tapes the whole thing.

I would try it.  Might even give it some more clarity.  Or else the overlays aren't that expensive.  The ones Teknocop has look great.

i vht blacked my rears and it does give it a little texture, but still looks good.  yours do as well sir

i tried overlays and they bout gave me an anxiety attack.  even with a heat gun and incredible amounts of patience, i could not get the damn things to mold to the wrx tails.

dont the instructions say to sand them before clear coat? thats what i always thought.. they should come out very smooth after a good sanding and clear coat.  :subaru:

I always wet sanded in between clear coats then a polish will make them look great.
