If there is anymore (what I consider) personal attacks this one will be locked too.  Next is ban.  I am all for information flowing, just no bad mouthing.

I have yet to see a personal "attack"...and on one persons consideration...for what defies that?

I've seen a lot of facts get laid out into the open and that's what a forum/community is for...sometimes it can get a bit heated...do you like being told you are wrong in life? People do not respond well to being called out on things no matter who it is, and it's text....you can not get an audible tone to what is being said...grain of salt...

....this whole site needs to understand that and that life is not sunshine and butterflies.... *shrug*

I personally try to help as many people as I can with information, If i question my information then I do not like to share what I have until I read more. The internet is a powerful tool.

Life most certainly isn't all sunshine and butterflies.

This is not just life though, this is a specific automotive forum and club that you (and any member) agreed to join with the following specific conditions.

"You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer."

What seems wrong or right varies greatly from each person you meet...it's call perception, and everyone has a different one. What is socially acceptable to one isn't to another.

I guess I am sorry I am not sorry if I have or would say/type something to offend anyone....maybe there needs to be a closed section that's more "gloves off" discussion for heated topics for stuff like that...a few other local car forums have had that in the past and it worked pretty well.

...anyways...back on track

Exactly!  Its all a matter of opinion.  Right now the one that matters is ours as we are charged with keeping this a civil place to discuss said opinions.   ;)

Cliff notes:

pooh = dipshit

jaz = not a dipshit.

In case you were wondering where there was a personal attack.

Locking of tunes may temporarily protect the tuner, but open information leads to better discussion and better tunes. Allowing your tunes to be reviewed by the community may actually make you a better tuner. I personally would not accept a tune I could not review. I've been burned too many times before.
the bottom line is this, people just need to realize that when they buy cheap CO's [KW on down], they are buying cheap, poorly engineered shocks for the sake of having height adjust-ability. - whitetiger on legacygt.com
