low oil pressure
« on: January 11, 2014, 12:42:15 AM »
Ok, so my oil pressure at warm idle is averaging 8psi (went lower) no oil light comes on thank god, but is there anyone who would have an idea of what to do or any suggestions?  I had an oil change 1000 miles ago, and they used 5w30 I believe (got a deal at performance dodge).  When not idling, it will go up to around 65psi at 3000rpm. Any help would be great.  Its a 2007 wrx tr.

Change the oil with a quality oil you buy yourself and not the cheap ###  oil they buy 500gallons at a time and see if you pressure improves.
