scan tool 93 svx
« on: March 14, 2014, 04:18:54 PM »
I have a check engine light on in my 93 svx, does anybody have a way of scanning it? Car currently runs bit didn't start most of the winter and sometimes dies while coming to a stop. Looking for a direction to go on repairs as it's just a cheap daily driver. Thanks

That's what i was thinking... Thought it changed over in 96 on most Subarus?
anyway, the auto shop on base had a obd I type scanner, or they did when i worked there from 2006-2009. (if you can get on base)

It was mandated for all vehicles in 1996.

Pretty likely to be the same as on the BC, there are diagnostic connectors under the steering column, two green and two black: http://legacycentral.org/library/literature/codes.htm
