Clutch job
« on: June 12, 2014, 05:32:38 PM »
My transmission is very noisy when I depress the clutch I am guessing it is a bearing failure and I am afraid it is time to get in and fix the problem before it stops working at all. What am I looking at cost wise?

What brand of clutch would you like to go with?
Is the Throw Out Bearing making noise? If yes, I recommend the Transmission Snout Kit along with the new Clutch Kit.
Please see link http://pdmusa1.com/ for the TSK kit. And no, i'm not savvy enough to embed it.
You'll also need your flywheel resurfaced, unless you'd like a new flywheel.
What type of gear lube would you like? We stock Subaru Extra S, Redline Light Weight Shock Proof and a house brand 75w90.
This job books 5 hours. We currently charge $90 an hour, but give a discount for NE Subaru board members.
Feel free to call the shop to discuss options and book an appointment.
