« on: January 29, 2015, 11:52:51 AM »
Short and sweet. i would just like input on if its going to be okay, this will be my first built subi.

so far its manley platinum series dished 99.75 8.5:1 pistons
manley h beam rods (will run stock td04)
cosworth "size 1" bearings (rod and main)

i also purchased all new sensors and pumps and belts... am i missing anything that could be crucial to the motor?

:o umm, what kind of Subaru are you doing this with?  I could assume it's a 2007 WRX from the username.

I did buy the car used and i know it was beat up when i bought it. It may be possible they had to swap blocks or something because i have had the motor out and 257 is stamped on the block.

Is it an EJ257 long block or just short?
