Decent twisty back roads in IA/NE to ride motorcycle.
« on: October 23, 2014, 05:43:24 PM »
I'm riding the Monster up from KC to my mom's in Gretna tomorrow. Anyone know of any decent twisty back/country roads that I can go ride with my brother in-law? As long as they're semi close to Omaha, 40min radius, I'm down to try some good roads.

If anyone is interested in riding text me and maybe we can set something up.

Unless we took the wrong roads, the loess hills trip we did had to be hit between 80-100mph to make the curves interesting.

Note: NSOC does not condone speeding on public roads, however, you make a good point. Unless you're just out for a cruise or playing in the snow, the only real way to have fun driving in this area is at the track.
the bottom line is this, people just need to realize that when they buy cheap CO's [KW on down], they are buying cheap, poorly engineered shocks for the sake of having height adjust-ability. - whitetiger on legacygt.com
