99 Forester Diff/Trans issue
« on: March 07, 2016, 02:32:53 AM »
Might be dropping by in the near future to have you guys check something out for me.  After the car is fully warmed up and driven a usual commuting distance, it used to be at full steering input left or right that the car would kind of hobble a bit into a parking spot or a T intersection, but now its with much less steering input.  Feels almost as if it's skipping a tooth on a gear while turning or binding up the center diff.  Have you got space for an inspection soon?  If so, what would the associated cost be to check things out?  Over the years I've heard nothing but good things about RG and I see the stickers everywhere, I won't be taking my Forester anywhere else if it's beyond the scope of what I can do at home :)

good to hear from you.

i've got a couple ideas on what the issue could be, but need a little more info from you.

the quickest way to get in touch with us is to just give the shop a call. either jim or myself can help you with this.
