Sponsor Section
« on: October 11, 2016, 07:33:21 AM »
What is the consensus from everyone on the Sponsors section of our forums?

Is there value to them?  Seems so many of the sponsors haven't interacted with our members in over a year... I just wonder if it's time to disband that section completely, or trim it back to only the active ones.

Thoughts?  :popcorn

I'd say a trimming would make sense.

Active is good. Maybe make it a requirement to post monthly. Inactive sponsors raise questions. Are they still in business? Are they still recommended by NSOC? What is the best way to reach them? etc.
the bottom line is this, people just need to realize that when they buy cheap CO's [KW on down], they are buying cheap, poorly engineered shocks for the sake of having height adjust-ability. - whitetiger on legacygt.com

Does anyone object to me just hiding all the ones that haven't had activity in the past 3 months?

3 months seems more than reasonable.  Meaning they're still sponsors but they aren't "showcased" on the main page you mean?

Sounds good to me.

I haven't explored that section yet but Russ' Garage is pretty packed with threads.
